Miami Beach Edition Hotel True to Original Seville
February 25, 2015
The Miami Beach Edition Hotel retains the history of the 1955 Seville Hotel. The history of the hotel tells the story of the rich and famous who came to the beach. Much has been restored – the white marble floors and 24-karat gold columns, the Matador Restaurant shape and amazing chadelier, even the old swimming pool and diving board. Joshua Wagner, Director of Culture and Entertainment talks about the history and its famous guests (think Frank Sinatra, Milton Berle and others.) Food News and Views part of Topical Currents @WLRN NPR 91.3 FM Thursday, 1:30 -2 PM, streamed live and archived at www.wlrn.org.
